PUBG Weapon Meta Monthly Update: Top 5 DMRs and SRs (June 2026)

PUBG Weapon Meta Monthly Update: Top 5 DMRs and SRs (June 2026)

MontedorJune 8, 2026

This June update covers the long-range side of the PUBG weapon meta: DMRs and sniper rifles ranked by shot share from WinnerMeta's live telemetry through June 7, 2026.

For context, this follows the April DMR/SR monthly update. You can also open the weapons leaderboard, compare rifles directly in the weapon comparison tool, or inspect individual pages like Mk12, Mini14, M24, and Kar98k.

Mk12 and Mini14 still own DMR volume

Mk12 remains the DMR volume leader, and Mini14 is still the nearest alternative. Together they account for more than 42% of DMR/SR shot volume in this June sample.

The gap between them is familiar: Mk12 has more total usage, while Mini14 posts slightly better hit rate and kill-per-shot numbers. If you value pure comfort and availability, Mk12 remains the default. If you prefer a flatter, clean-feeling tap rhythm, Mini14 continues to justify its pick rate.

Dragunov is still the efficiency story

Dragunov is fourth by DMR/SR shot share, but its conversion profile is still loud: 1.534% kill/shot, 15.96% hit rate, and 20.18% headshot rate.

That keeps the Dragunov in the same conversation we opened in the April DMR/SR update: not the highest-volume DMR, but one of the most punishing when players commit to it.

VSS remains a different kind of DMR

VSS sits third by DMR/SR shot share, but its average kill distance is only 74.2 m. That makes it hard to compare directly with Mk12, Mini14, SKS or SLR.

The VSS is still a close-mid weapon in practice. It appears in the DMR class, but its real job is pressure, stealth and early fighting rather than traditional long-range tapping.

M24 vs Kar98k is still the main SR choice

M24 leads SR shot volume, but Kar98k has the slightly better kill-per-shot and headshot-rate profile in this window.

That does not automatically make Kar98k the better weapon. It means the tradeoff remains alive: M24 keeps more usage, while Kar98k continues to reward clean first-shot accuracy.

For direct stat checks, use M24 vs Kar98k.

Crate snipers are elite, but not meta volume

AWM and Lynx produce the strongest kill-per-shot numbers in the SR table, but their usage is tiny compared with M24 and Kar98k.

That is expected. Crate weapons can be extremely lethal without defining the everyday meta, because most players simply do not get enough opportunities to use them.

June long-range takeaway

The long-range meta is stable at the top. Mk12 and Mini14 lead the DMR volume race, Dragunov remains the efficiency outlier, and M24/Kar98k still define normal SR play.
