What Changed in the PUBG Weapon Meta — June 2026
The June weapon meta is not a complete reset. The top of the board is stable: AUG A3, M416, MP5K, Mk12, Mini14, M24, and Kar98k are still the names you expect.
But there are useful movements under the surface. This post looks at what changed in WinnerMeta's June telemetry through June 7, 2026, compared with May and April.
For the class-specific rankings, read the companion posts:
Biggest usage changes vs May
| Weapon | Type | June Share | May Share | Change |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| JS9 | SMG | 0.63% | 1.09% | -0.46 pp |
| UMP45 | SMG | 5.75% | 5.51% | +0.24 pp |
| BerylM762 | AR | 8.57% | 8.80% | -0.23 pp |
| BizonPP19 | SMG | 0.71% | 0.53% | +0.18 pp |
| AKM | AR | 5.66% | 5.53% | +0.13 pp |
| Vector | SMG | 2.81% | 2.68% | +0.12 pp |
The short version: June's movement is mostly around SMGs and second-tier full-auto picks. The headline weapons are stable, but the supporting cast moved.
JS9 cooled off hard
JS9 has the clearest drop. Against May, its overall weapon share fell from 1.09% to 0.63%. Against April, the drop is even larger: 1.52% to 0.63%.
That does not mean JS9 is bad. Its kill-per-shot rate actually improved slightly versus April and May. The change is about usage, not obvious lethality collapse. Players are simply firing it less often in the current window.
UMP45 gained ground
UMP45 moved the other way. It rose from 5.51% to 5.75% versus May, and from 5.09% to 5.75% versus April.
The important detail is that UMP45 kept its conversion stable while usage increased. In June it sits at 1.542% kill/shot, which is strong for a high-volume SMG.
If you are comparing SMG choices, start with UMP45 vs Vector and UMP45 vs MP5K.
Beryl dipped in usage, not in danger
BerylM762 slipped slightly in share versus May and April, but it still posts excellent conversion: 1.282% kill/shot in June.
That keeps Beryl in a familiar place. It is not the easiest rifle to use, but it remains one of the most rewarding common ARs when controlled well.
For the closest rifle comparison this month, check BerylM762 vs ACE32.
ACE32 and Vector are quietly up vs April
Compared with April, ACE32 rose from 7.67% to 8.07% overall share, while Vector moved from 2.51% to 2.81%.
Neither change flips the meta by itself, but both support the same idea: players are not only defaulting to the old top picks. The middle of the weapon pool is still active.
DMR/SR movement is more about efficiency than volume
The long-range rankings did not swing as much as SMGs. Mk12 and Mini14 still control DMR volume, while M24 and Kar98k remain the normal SR pair.
The interesting part is efficiency:
- Dragunov is still strong at 1.534% kill/shot.
- Kar98k improved versus April and May in kill/shot.
- M24 also improved versus both comparison windows.
- SLR is not a top-volume DMR, but its June kill/shot is up versus April.
That makes the June long-range picture fairly healthy: stable usage, but meaningful performance differences between weapons.
What this means for players
If you want the safest full-auto loadout, the meta still starts with AUG A3, M416, BerylM762, and ACE32.
If you want close-range pressure, MP5K, UMP45, and Vector are the important names this month.
If you want range, Mk12, Mini14, M24, and Kar98k still form the backbone of the meta, with Dragunov as the efficiency weapon to watch.
The June meta is not chaotic. It is a stable top tier with enough movement underneath to make weapon choice interesting.
